requirements and other relevant provisions stated by Directive 1999/5/CE, EN 50131-1 level 1 – environment class III and EN 300 220-1 (2006-
04) class I.

Installation : installation, maintenance and/or modification of the system must be carried out by qualified personnel. There could be special
technical norms to be respected.
Rechargeable accumulators and/or batteries of any type: these appliances use accumulators or batteries, which are potentially dangerous
as they are pollutant, therefore dangerous to the health of the public. Replace the accumulators and/or batteries exclusively with same models,
position and connect them respecting the polarity indicated in the instructions. It is mandatory to dispose of accumulators/waste batteries
according to the Standards in force. This is also the case when the machines must be scrapped. The accumulators/batteries must be previously
removed, returning them to the appliance dealer or depositing them in the relevant containers made available by the distribution network. If
liquid should escape from the batteries or accumulators, use silicone gloves to protect the hands and prevent injury.
Responsibility : the manufacturer is not responsible for any consequence of improper installation and/or maintenance, improper and/or missed
use of the supplied units.
Warranty in CE: it is submitted to application of Wien Convention and applied by conditions of General Catalogue - Batteries excluded.
1) GENERALITIES
Hablo is an appliance that broadcasts two vocal messages directly recordable on the device and, when required, emits a sound like a small
siren. It works with batteries and has wireless installation, as it is controlled via radio from any Silentron transmitter device (control panels,
detectors, keypads, remote controls, transmitters). It can be used in the context of an alarm system such as a vocal/acoustic dissuader or in all
cases where it is useful to broadcast a vocal message on control (danger warnings, recall to meeting points, information, welcome and so on).
2) FUNCTIONING
Hablo has 4 functioning modes: they must be selected via two jumpers JP1 and 2 before powering; then insert the batteries.
A) Vocal siren: control from Silenya HT control panels for alarm situations - for message recording see the relevant paragraph.
Preparation: JP1 OFF -
Programming: on power supply the yellow LED flashes. Wait 30 seconds! Successively disarm the control panel: this operation programs
Hablo, which confirms with 6 beeps.
Functioning: - 3 beeps signal for "control panel armed" and 1 beep for "control panel disarmed"
- general alarm: emission of continuous beeps, or message 1, if recorded, during 10 seconds of pre-alarm.
Successively the siren rings for 3 minutes.
- outdoor alarm: emission of continuous beeps for 3 minutes or message 2, if recorded.
The siren will ring only if a general alarm control occurs.
- disarming: all alarms stop by disarming the control panel.
Beeps disabling: it's possible to disable the arm/disarm beeps, by pressing continuously the SEL touch: yellow led lights. After 5 seconds
the red led will light and the beeps will be disabled. It can enable the beeps in the same mode (led green lights).
B) Vocal signalling device: control from Silenya HT control panels to communicate the state of the control unit
Preparation: JP1 OFF -
Programming: as above
Functioning: - by disarming the control panel a beep is heard, or message , if recorded - the green LED flashing for 15 seconds
If new events are occurred, the red led flashes and the buzzer rings for 15 second.
- by arming the control panel 3 beeps are heard, or message 2, if recorded - all 3 LEDs switch on for 30 seconds
- by arming the control panel partially a long beep is heard or msg. 2, if recorded. - the LEDs of armed zones switch on (30 sec.)
If doors/windows are left open the buzzer rings and the LED of the relative zone flashes.
during the armed period (also partial) the red LED flashes every 5 seconds
- general alarm: Hablo does not emit any signal. It will indicate the new event on disarming
- outdoor alarm: Hablo emits continuous beep for 3 minutes and the LED of the relative zone switches on
Beeps disabling: it's possible to disable the panel arm/disarm beeps and the "new events" beeps as described at point A).
C) Mixed mode: the message 1 is controlled by Silenya HT panel for arming7disarming. Message 2 is controlled directly by detectors/remote
controls(yellow button)/keypads
Preparation: JP1 ON -
Programming: as above for the control panel - by pressing SEL+REC to program the detectors (see succ.)
Functioning: - arming/disarming the control panel the green LED switches on for 15 seconds and a beep is heard, or message 1, if recorded:
as this is unique for every manoeuvre, "confirmed and/or performed manoeuvre" must be recorded.
- alarm from a detector: 1 second beep or message 2 twice consecutively and temporary switch-on of the red LED
D) Warning Mode: control from detectors/remote controls(yellow button)/keypads: up to 16 appliances for the message 1 and 16 for
messagec2.
Preparation: JP1 ON -
Programming: SEL+REC keys for all appliances
Functioning: every signal coming from a programmed appliance will give rise to the diffusion of a beep or relative message 1 or 2 (if
recorded), which will be repeated twice.
Low Battery signal: following any control all LEDs flash quickly and Hablo emits a long beep.
3) Programming the controls:
- Detectors and other TXs: - press the SEL+REC keys at the same time - the yellow LED flashes and the green one switches on (message 1)

it is recommended to power Hablo by keeping pressed the ERASE key. In this way any previous
programming is deleted, including that of the Silentron inspection. For SilenyaHT control panel see above.
