4 ChargINg The MulTICopTer aND MoNITor
Attention: The battery and motor must cool down for 10 to 15 minutes before charg-
ing and after every flight. Otherwise they can be damaged. The charging process must
be constantly monitored. Always ensure that the charging process takes place on a
fireproof surface in a fire-resistant environment.
• Unplug the multicopter from the battery, switch off the remote control, plug the
power pack into a socket and connect the power pack with the charger. The power
LED on the charger illuminates green (4A).
• Remove the battery from the battery compartment (do not hold by the cable!) (4B).
• Carefully plug the white plug of the Li-Po battery into the Li-Po charger. DO NOT
APPLY FORCE. If the plug is not correctly inserted into the charging socket, the
helicopter may become damaged and, under certain circumstances, become an injury
risk. The LED on the charger illuminates red.
• The charging process lasts approx. 150 minutes and must be continuously monitored.
The red LED on the charger goes out as soon as the charging process is finished.
• Disconnect the battery from the charger and disconnect the charger from the mains
after the charging is completed (4C).
After a charge time of approx. 150 minutes the multicopter can fly for
approx. 5 minutes.

Warning notice: The battery does not normally heat up while charging. If it should
become warm or even hot and/or changes to the surface begin to appear, immediately
discontinue the charging process!
The monitor has a built-in rechargeable battery. It can be charged with the
accompanying USB charger. Always monitor the charging procedure. A fire-
resistant surface and fireproof environment must always be chosen for the
charging process.
• Plug the USB charger into an open USB port (4D). The LED on the charger illuminates.
• N ow insert the plug of the USB charger into the charging socket on the underside of
the monitor (4E). The LED on the USB charger goes out when the charging process
starts.
• T he LED on the charger illuminates again when the battery is fully charged. The
charging process for a fully depleted battery takes about 120 minutes; with a partially
depleted battery it a correspondingly shorter time. The monitor can be operated for
about 45 minutes with a fully charged battery.
