Installation:
1. It is recommended to mount the CO2
sensor on a wall close to the CO2 source, with
a minimum distance of 50 cm. It is not
advisable to place the sensor directly above
the CO2 source if that source can reach very
high temperatures (CO2 generator).
The sensor must be placed approximately
1 meter above the fl oor.
2. Also, do not place the sensor in the immediate
air current of ventilators as this can infl uence
the measurements.
3. Connect the sensor(s) to the top of the T-Micro
with the supplied (UTP) cable/cables.
4. Plug the CO2 source into the outlet of the
T-Micro.
5. Plug the T-Micro in to a 230V outlet.
6. Ready!
Connecting the controllers and sensors:
All of the TechGrow Pro Series controllers and
sensors (except for the Temp probe) are
connectable to each other to guarantee an
optimal climate. It is possible to connect the
controllers to each other, so that you can control
your entire climate with merely the use of ONE
TechGrow S-4 sensor.
Since each device has 3 UTP connectors it is also
possible to connect for example, a Datalogger
DL-1 and/or an AM-T sms Notifi er.
Make sure all controllers have mains voltage to
prevent possible failure. Make sure that the
controller is disabled before you connect the
sensor(s) to prevent any disruptions. The sensor
can be plugged into any UTP connector.
The regular TechGrow sensors are the same as
the sensors of the TechGrow Pro Series and can
therefore also be used for controllers of the Pro
Series.
Connecting extra sensors or other
devices:
The T-Micro can, due to the connected CO2,
humidity and temperature sensors, measure and
indicate the value and send it to the connected
controller, provided that it is connected to a S-4
sensor.
However, the T-Micro"only" controls CO2.
If you wish to connect another sensor to the
T-Micro, fi rst switch off the controller, wait a few
seconds and then connect the sensor.
Plug the controller back into the outlet.
Which sensors can be connected to the
T-Micro?
The minimal sensor required is an S-2 sensor. If
you also wish to see temperature and humidity on
the display, you can extend the S-2 sensor with a
Temp/RH sensor or replace the S-2 with an
S-4 sensor.
The S-4 measures CO2-, temperature-, and
humidity values and detects light simultaneously.
ATTENTION: NEVER connect two of the same
type of sensors to your controller!!
For example: a Temp/RH can never be
connected with an S-4 sensor simultaneously.
Automatic functions of the T-Micro:
1. If there are no sensors connected to the
T-Micro the following will appear on the
display: **NO CO2 SENSOR**.
2. No CO2 is emitted when it is dark. This is why
you should make sure that the sensor can
directly detect the light source.
3. If the CO2 sensor is not detected, no CO2 is
emitted.
