For slip-fit spout, tubing must extend 1-1/2" (3.8cm) min.; 2-7/8" (7.3cm) max. beyond finished
wall. For I.P.S. spout, pipe must extend 3-7/8" (9.8cm) beyond finished wall.
SUPPORT FRAMING
Determine the installation location of the valve and install support
framing as needed.
NOTE: For bath-only and shower-only installations, seal the
unused outlet with the cap provided.
3. INSTALLATION
INSTALL VALVE
Position the valve so the distance between the finished wall and the
center of the valve inlets is between 1-3/8" (3.5cm) and 2-3/8"
(6cm). Be sure the "UP" marking on the valve is facing upward.
Connect 1/2" copper tubing or I.P.S. piping to the bath and/or
shower ells.
NOTE: Do not use plastic tubing
Connect the water-supply lines.
