sation is only valid and the handset can only be
operated if this Ex battery pack is installed. Other
battery packs are strictly prohibited. If they are
used, Ex protection is no longer valid.
Never open the handset battery compartment in

an Ex zone. Ex battery pack removal, charging or
transportation is not permitted in these zones.
Charging the Ex battery pack:
The Ex battery pack may only be charged:

– Outside the Ex zone
– While inside the handset
– Using the supplied charging unit
The charging unit should only be used outside the
