Step 8: Checking for leaks

1 If necessary, turn the shut-off valve to the SHUT position.
2 Turn on the water supply. With the panel door still open, check the connection between the ½ inch flex line and the water
supply. When you are satisfied that there are no leaks, turn off the water supply.
3 With the panel door still open, pull the insulation tube as far upwards as it can go so that the ½ inch flex line and the
connection between the water supply line and the flex line are completely covered and insulated.
4 Close the panel door.
If high water pressure is an issue, the shut-off valve can be used to help reduce the flow of water into the valve.
We recommend the use of a pressure reducer in situations where water pressure exceeds 72.5 psi. (See
