Step 8: Checking for leaks

If necessary, turn the shut-off valve to the SHUT position.

Turn on the water supply. With the panel door still open, check the connection between the ½ inch flex line and the water
supply. When you are satisfied that there are no leaks, turn off the water supply.

With the panel door still open, pull the insulation tube as far upwards as it can go so that the ½ inch flex line and the
connection between the water supply line and the flex line are completely covered and insulated.

Close the panel door.
If high water pressure is an issue, the shut-off valve can be used to help reduce the flow of water into the valve.
We recommend the use of a pressure reducer in situations where water pressure exceeds 72.5 psi. (See
