Applying the Detachable Shield to the Cable
Apply the detachable shield to the cable as follows (refer to the diagrams
below):
1. Feed the leadwires through the larger, then smaller openings of the
detachable shield. This may need to be performed one at a time if using
grabber style leadsets.
2. Guide the detachable shield's larger opening over the cable housing.
3. Position the detachable shield so that the edge of the smaller opening is
aligned with the recessed cut-out of the cable housing.
4. Press the top, bottom, and side edges of the detachable shield firmly
into the recessed cut-out.
Detachable shield is intended for use only when
completely applied to the leadset (example below
shows 5-leadset application).
