beneath the pan - DO NOT allow the flame to extend up the sides
of the pan. If using a glass cooktop, gently lift and move cookware
from one burner to another. Do not drag or push the pans as this
may scratch your cooking surface.
Misuse or Overheating:
High heat is never required for Premium
Steel by Swiss Diamond. Overheating is a common occurrence and
is easily recognizable as the stainless steel exterior and internal
radius will change colors. This will result in a blue/orange/brown
flaming affect which can be very difficult to clean off. You will need
to use a quality stainless steel cleaner and apply with a non-
abrasive cloth in a circular motion to remove the flaming marks.
Initially, it will not affect the pan performance, but continual over
heating may cause warping or damage to the encapsulated base.
Never allow a pot or pan to reach boiling temperature without water.
Do not leave a pan unattended during the cooking process.
Heat Recommendations:
Ensure that you match the base diameter
of your cookware to the correct size burner or hot plate. High heat
is never required as it can lead to food sticking and residue burning
to the surface of the pan. Prolonged use of high heat can lead to
irreversible damage to your cookware. Use low to medium heat for
all cooking, including frying and searing.
Oven Use:
Premium Steel by Swiss Diamond is oven-safe up to
500°F (260°C). The handles will become extremely hot under these
conditions, so always use pot holders when removing pans from the
oven. Continue utilizing pot holders when handling the cookware as
the handles will stay warm after oven use.
Induction Stovetops:
Ensure that you match the base diameter of
your cookware to the correct size burner or hot plate. If the cooking
surface is too large or small, insufficient contact will reduce the
performance of the cookware. The "boost" function should not be
used for searing or frying, as its purpose is to bring large quantities
of liquid to a boil. While cooking you may detect a low vibration
noise, however this is quite normal and will not affect the cooking

performance.
Cleaning:
Premium Steel by Swiss Diamond is dishwasher safe,
but hand-washing is recommended for a spotless shine. Never
submerge a hot pan or lid in cold water – give the cookware several
minutes to cool off prior to washing. To remove stubborn residue,
fill cookware with soapy water and soak for 10 to 15 minutes.
Use a non-abrasive sponge or soft bristle brush to release the
residue, then rinse thoroughly and dry. Do not use bleach, abrasive
detergents, oven cleaners, steel wool or scouring pads as they may
damage the cookware surface.
If need be, a certified stainless steel cleaner may be used to restore
the shine, but always follow the instructions provided on the
product label.
Storing:
If the pans are nested, we recommend placing a paper
towel or Swiss Diamond Felt Pot Protector (see image below)
between each pan to prevent scratches. Do not store food or liquids
in cookware overnight as acidic food can cause discoloration and
surface pitting.
