suitable water source. Note that the maximum difference in height between pump and
water container must be below 1,5m, because the suction flow will drop rapidly with
increased elevation.
If the pump does not intake water, you either have too much air in the system or the
height difference is too big. In that case try just a single nozzle with a short tube. If
the pump than sucks water properly, it should work as well with more nozzles, because
there is less air in the system.
Back pressure valve:
The back pressure valve is inserted into pressure line ("OUT") between pump and first
nozzle, as close to the nozzle as possible. Please use the included tube clamps (if in-
cluded in the delivery), in order to prevent that the valve doesn't accidentally spring
of the tube due to the pressure. It is essential to ensure the proper flow direction! For
this purpose, the transparent side of the back pressure valve must point to the pump
and the black side in direction of the nozzle!
Spray Nozzle Mounting:
To keep the installation simple, we recommend leading the hose/tube from nozzle to
nozzle inside the terrarium. In that case you only need one hole to get the tube into the
terrarium. For this you can use the supplied Universal-T-bulkhead which needs a 11,5
mm hole (e.g. inside the ventilation sheet). Place the Universal-T-bulkhead through the
hole and fix it with the nuts from both sides.
Seal one outlet with the supplied end caps and lead the tube further to one side. Open
the nut slightly and push the plug into the opening than twist and fix the nut again. It
might be necessary to hold the T-bulkhead from inside the terrarium while mounting
the tubes to reduce the forces acting on the terrarium. In the same way you can mount
the Universal-T-bulkhead just the other way around and connect the nozzles on both
sides. Take care in that case that you install the same number of nozzles on both sides.
Finally, seal the connector opening of the last nozzle/s with a plug and fix the screw
the same way you did for the tubes.
We recommend that you first install all tube and nozzles inside the terrarium and at
the end connect them with the bulkhead.
Use suction cups to fix the nozzles to the glass terrarium. Fixing the tubes use the
suction cups with clamps. Simply click in the tubes.
Hint: If the suction cups do not stay fixed to a surface e.g. in wooden vivariums (like
FurniTarrium), you can purchase a separately available mounting plate (item# SR-39).
If you want to use one or more dripping valves make sure the valves will be the last
parts in the row after the spray nozzles and adjust the dripper to the desired flow rate.
Make sure that the tube is not damaged, bent, the cut edges are straight and that all
connections are water tight. Point the nozzles into the desired direction but make sure
that the mist cannot reach electric devices like lamps or sockets.
Alternative Installation:
You can also keep the tube outside the terrarium by using a separate bulkhead for
every nozzle to ensure perfect fit. Therefore you need the nozzle with bulkhead con-
nection (item SR-31).

Initial operation:

Place the transformer where it cannot get wet (not near the pump or the tube). Connect
the transformer to the power connector on the pump case and plug it into the wall
socket. The system will immediately start working. A separate ON/OFF switch is not
included. Start running the device by turning the switch to the right and adjust the knob
to the desired performance.
Notes for usage:
Please not that the pump is extremely powerful and has a flow rate of more than 162
l/h (respectively Super Rain PRO 240 l/h). It is strongly recommended to use the mist
system only for a few minutes (max. 10 min) to prevent flooding your terrarium. If you
want to use it several times a day, we suggest having a minimum of one hour between
the misting times. Attention! The mist system is not designed for continuous use!
Use appropriate controllers like timers, interval or humidity controllers (e.g. Lucky Rep-
tile Humidity Control or PRO Timer) to ensure a smooth operation.
Water:
We advise against the use of hard water. Use distilled water, osmosis water or rain
water.

Safety Instructions

• The allowed ambient temperature may not fall below 0° or exceed 40°C during
operation.
• The device is not designed for continuous use. Do not use it for longer than 10 mi-
nutes at a time to prevent overheating.
• Outdoor use is not allowed.
• Do not open the pump case or make any modifications.
• Transformer and cables have to be regularly checked for damages. In case of dis-
covering a problem, put the device immediately out of operation. The transformer
must not get in contact with liquids.
• The use of a transformer other than the one supplied is not allowed.
• Generally it should be verified if the device is applicable for the application at hand
before putting it into operation! In case of doubt consultation of experts or the
manufacturer of the employed devices is required!
• It is only allowed to use the supplied components or the separately available origi-
nal extension and spare parts. Using any other parts will void the warranty.
Warranty
The warranty expires in case of modification and repair attempts as well as damaging
by force or inappropriate usage.
A manufacturer warranty of 2 years is granted on this device. The warranty includes
the correction of faults that can be attributed to the use of faulty materials or work-
manship. Neither a guarantee nor any liabilities for detriments or consequential da-
mages in relation with this product will be assumed. Repair, amendments or exchange
for a replacement are at the manufacturer' s discretion.
