Route tubing to an available opening in the
"T" quick connect on the diaphragm valve. Trim
tubing to desired length, Ensure a square cut and
insert into quick connect. Be sure connection is
secure.
Excess tubing can be secured to suction or
discharge piping using zip ties, tape or worm
clamps. Be sure you do not crush or crimp the
5/32-in. tubing.
The 5/32-in tubing between the "T" quick
connect and the valve adjustment screw is
factory installed before shipment. Be sure those
connections are tight and have not come loose
during shipment.
INSTALLATION OF DISCHARGE PIPING
Install the included 1-1/2-in. slip coupling to the
discharge end of backup pump. Use PTFE Teflon
tape to seal threads and prevent leaks.
Glue 1-1/2-in. discharge pipe into slip fitting.
