Inspect each unit when received for damage
incurred during shipping. Inspect prior to each
use for any damage, unusual wear, deterioration,
corrosion or missing or loose components.
2. Do not use units that are damaged, weakened or
are missing parts for any reason until repairs are
completed. Units that are damaged, after their
arrival, and/or are worn beyond repair, should be
destroyed. Never use a damaged platform.

Insert handrail assemblies evenly and all the way
to the bottom of the corner pipe sockets. Install
handrail assemblies in the correct direction. Holes
in handrails will be towards rear. The gate will be on
front of platform, as user enters, with gate facing in.
The handrail assemblies have a snug fit and may
require a slight tapping to get them to the bottom of
the sockets. Install one 5/16-18 x 3/4" long bolt into
each of the corner pipe sockets and tighten.
2. Position back screen so slots are on the sides. Place
screen between handrails so mesh side is facing into
platform. Align slots in screen with holes in handrails.
Fasten screen between handrails using 5/16-18 x 1½"
long bolts and locknuts.
3. The retainer chain installs between the two round
rings at back of platform. One end is pre-attached
to a ring. The other end will attach to opposite ring
using the snap hook, which is already attached to
end of chain.
4. The retainer chain is used to secure platform to fork
truck during use. Retainer chain spans behind mast
of fork truck and hooks to other ring. The retainer
chain must be used whenever platform is in use.
Unhook chain before removing platform from fork
truck.

3. Do not use the platform if the retainer chain or
anchor point is damaged or missing.
4. A defaced or missing label should be replaced.

5. Check all fasteners and tighten if necessary.
6. Review all safety capacity labels.
