Understanding the M Waterproof Battery LED (light-emitting
diode) Indicators
The M Waterproof Battery has different indicator lights that are located
within the M Waterproof Battery.
The LED has 3 color options:
•
Blue: M Waterproof Battery is charging
•
Green: M Waterproof Battery is fully charged
•
Red: Fault condition*
*Unplug the M Waterproof Battery and then try to charge again. If the
red LED illuminates again, contact your cochlear implant professional.
Understanding the M Waterproof Battery Audible Alarm
The M Waterproof Battery produces a constant, audible alarm when
the headpiece is unlocked from the implant in order to warn caregivers
when the headpiece becomes unlocked. The audible alarm is a
programmable feature that can be enabled or disabled by your cochlear
implant professional.
Streaming Audio while using the M Waterproof Battery
When the processor is connected to a Bluetooth-enabled device,
Phonak Roger transmitter, Phonak PartnerMic, or Phonak TV Connector,
you will be able to stream audio from that device directly to your sound
processor when it is in the M Waterproof Battery.
The microphone in the headpiece cannot be used for hands-free phone
calls via Bluetooth. If you receive a phone call when the processor is in
the M Waterproof Battery, you should change the audio routing on your
phone to a different source (e.g., phone or speaker phone).
Please refer to the M Waterproof Battery Instructions for Use for
additional information.
