Replacing the O-Ring on the M Waterproof Battery
The M Waterproof Battery O-Ring should be inspected prior to each
use and will need to be changed periodically. If damage to the
O-Ring is observed or suspected, replace prior to resuming use.
The M Waterproof Battery and O-Ring should be rinsed following
submersion in salt or chlorine treated water.
To remove the existing O-Ring, use your fingers to lift a portion of the old
O-Ring out of the M Waterproof Battery. Once a portion of the O-Ring
is lifted out, hold the O-Ring and pull the remaining portion out of the M
Waterproof Battery mounting groove.
To insert the new O-Ring, place a portion of the new O-Ring in the
M Waterproof Battery mounting groove on the case. Take care to match
the shape of the O-Ring correctly with the shape of the M Waterproof
Battery. While holding the O-Ring in the groove with one hand, carefully
stretch the remaining portion of the O-Ring into the remaining groove.
