3L GAS BOTTLE

Rechargeable gas bottle for compressed industrial gas
(Argon Ar) or compressed industrial gas mixtures (mixture
of Argon and Carbon Dioxide - ArCO ) for use in welding.
The gas is identified by the colour of the neck of the bottle
according to the following key:

SPECIFICATIONS
Capacity of bottle: 3 litres
Maximum intake pressure: 200 bar, 20 Mpa, 2840 psi
Tare: 5,5 Kg
Ambient working temperature (min., max.) -20°C, +65°C
The following recommendations, instructions and
warnings should always be adhered to.
- The gas bottle is subject to the regulations and rules for its
use, transport, maintenance and regular inspection in the
country where it is used.
- The owner of the bottle is responsible for having it
inspected regularly and in compliance with the terms set
by the legislation in force in the country where it is used.
- When handling the bottle, always lift it, and do not roll or
drag it.
- Do not transfer gas from one bottle to another, empty
bottles may only be re-filled at authorised re-charging
centres.
- When transporting the bottle, make sure it is safe by
fastening it down appropriately so that it will not move or
knock against other bottles.
- The user is responsible for the safe, correct use of the
bottle and the gas it contains.
- Fasten the bottle down securely while it is being used.
- The user should never modify, tamper with, obstruct,
remove or repair any part of the bottle or the valve. All
maintenance and repair work should be carried out by
authorised service centres.
- The bottle may only used for the purposes for which it was
designed, i.e. only as a container for welding gas.
- Do not use the bottle as an earth connector in welding
circuits.
- Do not weld near the bottle.
- Protect the bottle from flecks of flying welding material.
- Do not expose the bottle to sunlight.
- If the bottle or valve is damaged, contact an authorised
repair centre.
- Do not discharge gas from the bottle in the direction of
people.
- Always protect the valve with the special cap provided for

the bottle.
- Do not drop the bottle on the floor or bang it violently
against other surfaces.
- Do not hang up the bottle to use it, with ropes, chains or
similar.
- When you have finished all welding operations, always
close the valve. In addition, always close the bottle valve,
even when the bottle is empty, to prevent moisture from
entering.
- Do not use too much force when closing the valve on the
bottle. The maximum closing torque is 7Nm.
- The valve on the bottle should be opened slowly and
completely.
- Before opening the valve make sure that it is always
connected to a pressure reduction device.
- All maintenance and repair work should be carried out
with the bottle completely empty.
- The residual pressure in the bottle should never go below
the external pressure, in order to prevent air from entering
from the outside and contaminating the inner walls of the
bottle. The valve on the empty bottle should be closed,
and the recommended internal pressure should be at
least 2 bar, 200000 pa, 28,4 psi
- Before taking the pressure regulator off the bottle,
completely close the valve and wait until the regulator
completely discharges all the remaining gas under
pressure.

Bombola ricaricabile per il contenimento di gas industriale
compresso (Argon Ar) o miscela di gas industriale
compresso (miscela di Argon e biossido di carbonio ArCO )
per uso in saldatura.
L'identificazione del gas contenuto avviene attraverso la
colorazione del colletto della bombola secondo quanto di
seguito riportato:
