m WARNING: Do not use cooking oil of any kind or quantity
in the griddle. Instead, lightly oil food prior to placing in
heated griddle.
m WARNING: Do not remove the griddle until it is cool.
m WARNING: Never submerge your griddle in water when
it is hot. Thermo-shock can cause damage to the enamel.
Failure to follow these DANGER, WARNING, and CAUTION statements may result in serious
bodily injury or death, or may result in a fire or an explosion causing damage to property.
The griddle can break if dropped. Contact Weber
Use and Care
Prior to first use: Hand wash new griddle with mild dishwashing liquid. Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth or
paper towel.
After use: Wait until the griddle is cool. Soak in water to remove stubborn particles and then hand wash with
warm soapy water. Rinse and dry completely. Nylon or soft abrasive pads/brushes may be used. Store inside
in a cool, dry location.
NOTE: Metallic pads/brushes and harsh abrasive soaps can damage the porcelain-enamel finish.
NOTE: Do not strike metal objects against the griddle. Gouging or scraping with sharp metal utensils can cause
damage to the porcelain-enamel surface.
• Remove cooking grate from the cookbox (A).
• Place griddle in the cookbox (B).
• Preheat grill until temperature reaches 400
• Lightly oil your food before placing in the griddle.
• Evenly distribute food over griddle surface; avoid clustering food (D).
