Before using the coffee machine for the first time, proceed as follows: Carefully unpack your coffee machine and remove all
packaging material and possible promotional stickers. Keep the packaging (plastic bags and cardboard) out of reach of children.
After unpacking the appliance, carefully check it for external damage that may have occurred during transport.
Check that the voltage stated on the information plate matches the mains voltage used in your region.
Place the coffee machine on a flat, stable and heat-resistant surface.
It is best to clean the interior of the new coffee machine prior to using it for the first time. This is done by filling the water
reservoir with cold water up to the 6 mark and using the appliance two to three times without coffee.
Clean the exterior of the appliance as described in section CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE.
