QUICK GUIDE
Follow these steps to install the Beddit sensor in your bed.
1. SENSOR PLACEMENT
The positioning of your Beddit sensor depends
on your bed setup. To achieve the best accu-
racy for your sleep data, Beddit is designed to
be placed right under the top bed sheet, under
your upper torso area at about chest height.
If you have a bed with a mattress cover, the
sensor can also be placed under it. It is recom-
mended you first try out the optimal positioning
before installing the sensor into your bed:
- If you sleep alone in the bed, place the sensor
so that the sensor strip extends fully (about 26
in, 65 cm) on the mattress
- If you sleep alone in a wide bed, place the
sensor so that it covers the area where you
normally sleep
- If two people sleep in the bed, place the sen-
sor so that there is a 6-inch gap (15 cm) be-
tween the midline of the bed and the sensor's
end. With beds over 63-inch wide (160 cm), the
gap may be wider
You can later re-adjust the placement to find the
optimal spot in your bed.
2. REMOVING THE LINER
The Beddit sensor has an adhesive layer on its
other side. Gently peel off the protective liner
before attaching the sensor to your bed. The
sensor performs best when it stays in place.
3. SETTING UP
Apply the sensor onto your mattress and fold
the bed sheet back into its place. Plug the Bed-
dit sensor into the USB-power plug provided.
Beddit must be plugged into this power source
in order to work.

DOWNLOAD THE APP
Download the Beddit app for your mobile de-
vice from the App Store or Google Play.
Launch the application and follow the on-screen
instructions to start your first sleep measure-
ment.

vice - Beddit Family. You can link up one or
multiple Beddit accounts onto one website and
follow how your family or any kind of a group

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Instructions for how to properly take
care of your Beddit and maximize
its life.
1. Clean the top side of the sensor
with a damp cloth if needed.
2. Do not wash the sensor in a wash-
ing machine or dry it in a dryer. Doing
so will ruin it and void your warranty.
3. The tape that holds the sensor to
your mattress may lose its adhesive-
ness over time. This is normal and you
can easily replace the tape. See this
user guide for instructions.
4. Do not try to repair the sensor,
cable or power adapter other than
replacing the adhesive tape of the
sensor. There are no parts that can
be safely repaired at home. Contact
us if you need help with your Beddit. If
there is a defect covered by the war-
ranty, we will replace the defective
part or refund your money. See the
warranty terms and limitations.
5. When making your bed, be careful
with the sensor and the power cable
to avoid damaging them. If you have
an adjustable mattress or rollaway
bed, do not fold the sensor and cable
into the bed. Do not allow the sensor
or cable to be folded up or tangled in
your bedding.
6. Your Beddit includes a power
adapter. Use it for powering the sen-
sor. Using the USB port on a laptop or
other electronics could result in pow-
er variation or damage to the sensor
or your electronics or data. Plugging
the power cable into your electronics
is at your own risk.
