Cleaning the unit
Unplug the unit from the power point before cleaning.

Only clean the unit with a soft, dry cloth.

Do not use any liquid cleaners or aerosols.

Notes on CDs
HANDLING CDS
Hold the CD by the edges and make sure that your fi ngers do not
touch the playback surface. Do not glue paper or put stickers on CDs.
CLEANING CDS
STORING CDS
Store CDs in their cases after use.
Do not expose CDs to very cold, damp or hot environments.
Never leave them in a parked vehicle exposed to sunlight.
DAMAGED CDS AND CDS IN OTHER SHAPES
Do not use cracked, chipped, deformed, or otherwise damaged CDs as
they may damage the player.
This player is designed to only be used with standard, 100% circular CDs.
Do not use CDs in any other shape.
Never lift or move the unit during playback: CDs rotate at high speed and
could be damaged.

Fingerprints and dust on a CD can cause poor sound quality
and distortion. Before playing, clean the CD with a clean, dry
cloth from the centre towards the edges.
Never use alcohol, benzene, thinner, cleaning fl uid or other
chemicals.
Do not use compressed air to clean dust.

Before contacting your after sales service, perform the following basic checks. If you cannot solve the
problem by following the instructions below, contact your store.

of each other and that no walls or electronic devices are interfering with transmission.
SOLUTIONS
Plug the unit into a mains socket.
Plug another device into the same mains
socket to perform a cross test.
Adjust the volume.
Briefl y press the
button or the
VOL+ or VOL- buttons to reactivate the
volume.
Select the correct audio source by pressing
the
button several times.
Unplug the unit for 30 minutes. After 30
minutes, turn the micro hi-fi system back
on.
Bring the remote control closer to the
unit.
Remove any obstacles between the two
elements.
Replace the battery. Refer to the
"Remote
Control
