High efficiency of the demolition hammer operation can be achieved by using sharp and undamaged
working tools.
DEINSTALLATION OF WORKING TOOL
Just after the operation is finished, the working tool may be hot. Avoid direct contact and use
appropriate protective gloves. Clean the working tool after removal.
Disconnect the power tool from power supply.
●
Pull the tool holder bolt (
●
Remove the working tool with your second hand by pulling it to the front.
SWITCHING ON / SWITCHING OFF
The mains voltage must match the voltage on the rating plate of the demolition hammer.
Switching on – press the switch button (5) and hold in this position.
Switching off – release pressure on the switch (5).
Locking the switch (continuous operation)
Switching on:
●
Press the switch button (
●
Press the switch lock button (
●
Release pressure on the switch button (
Switching off:
●
Press and release the switch button (
Do not use the demolition hammer when the ON/OFF switch is broken.
HAMMER OPERATION, DEMOLITION
Hold the hammer firmly with both hands and switch it on. To achieve the best possible efficiency during
operation, apply stable and moderate (not excessive) pressure on the demolition hammer (excessive
pressure would lead to efficiency loss). The hammer is factory lubricated and is ready for operation.
Demolition hammer filled with solid grease requires some time to heat up, depending on the surrounding
temperature. New demolition hammer requires some time to work before it achieves full working efficiency.
If the demolition hammer is not used for a long time, or operates in low temperature, allow the hammer to
work with no load for 3-5 minutes.
As mentioned above, high efficiency of operation can be achieved by using sharp tools and taking care of
ventilation holes to be pervious.
During operation small quantities of grease may come up from between the working tool and
tool holder. This is normal and when you intend to operate the hammer in a closed space it is
recommended to cover area close to the working place.
Unplug the power cord from the mains socket before commencing any activities related to
installation, adjustment, repair, maintenance or when any malfunction is observed.
Always keep the demolition hammer clean.
●
Never use any caustic agents for cleaning plastic parts of the demolition hammer.
●
After operation use compressed air to blow through the demolition hammer to remove dust deposit,
especially to keep ventilation holes (7) in the motor cover (fig. D) pervious.
●
It is necessary to regularly check technical condition of carbon brushes of the motor (dirty or overly used
brushes may cause excessive sparking and loss of rotational speed of the demolition hammer spindle).
GEAR GREASING
It is recommended to check grease in the gear every 60 hours of the demolition hammer operation
and filling up or change of grease according to needs.
●
Unscrew the fixing screws and remove the lid (
2) against the spring and turn it by 180
