1 Make sure that a 110/115/230V socket is nearby.
2 Cut the shielding gas hose at a suitable position to which the EWR is to be
fastened.
3 Connect the cut shielding gas hose to the gas supply line (13) and to the
gas discharge line (10) .
4 Fasten the shunt (7) to the welding current cable or ground cable.
5 Connect the connecting cable of the shunt and secure the plug with the
screw.
6 Connect the connecting cable of the power supply unit (24V) (1) and
secure the plug with the screw.
7 Plug the power supply unit into the 110/115/230V socket.
8 Make sure that the green (5) and red control diodes (6) and the orange
LED (2) on the flow rate indicator (3) are lit.
NOTICE
• On the flow rate indicator, only the orange LED in the middle should be
lit. (Factory setting)
• Please make sure that the power supply of 24V is kept constant. Any
fluctuations may result in irregularities.
9 Open the gas supply and make sure that no leaks are present.
In case of leakage, switch off the gas supply. Eliminate the leak by sealing
it with insulating tape or replace the gas supply/discharge line.
10Check and make sure that the red control diode (6) goes out, after the gas
