Removal of the worn cable:
1 - Unroll the surplus of cable from the winch (figure 3).
2 - Dismantle the cable fixing system
and remove it from the winch.
3 - Remove the M8 screw from the lower mast used
as a high stop for the intermediate mast (mark A).
4 - Remove the lower brake.
5 - Remove pulley A and release completely
the intermediate mast of the lower mast (figure 1).
6 - Remove the pulley B from the intermediate mast
and clear the worn cable from the lower cover (figure 2).
7 - Remove the pulley C from the intermediate mast as well as the brake
from the upper mast and clear the upper mast completely (figure 1).
8 - Remove the worn cable from the base of the upper mast
and unscrew the tightening device from the cable.
Fitting the new cable:
1 - Thread the cable through the drilled hole in the lower part of the upper mast
and to make it pass through the opening of this same mast.
2 - Fit the cable with its fastening device (mark B).
3 - Insert the upper mast completely into the intermediate mast.
4 - Present the pulley C to the higher end of the intermediate mast,
position the cable (figure 1), and assemble with a spacer of 39 mm and a bolt M8 X 50.

5 - Fit the brake
of the upper mast and position the stop return spring
6 - Present the pulley B at the lower end of the intermediate mast, position the cable (figure 2),
and fit a screw head H of 8 X25 and a low nut M8 + spacer 18.
- Insert the intermediate mast completely into the lower mast.
7 - Present the pulley A at the upper end of the lower mast, position the cable (figure 1),
and assemble with a spacer of 39 mm and a bolt M8 X 50.

8 - Fit the brake
of the lower mast and position the return spring and the stop
9 - Fit the screw M8, used as upper stop at the intermediate mast, on the lower mast.
Moderately tighten so as not to deform the lower mast (mark A).
10 - Pass the end of the cable into the rectangular opening of the winch reel (mark C).
11 - Fit the fixing device to the free end of the cable.
12 - Operate the winch to wind the excess cable onto it
(Guide the cable so that it rolls up correctly on the winch).
