tance measuring tool. Control takes place via second-
ary assignment of the operating panel buttons.
Configuring the Measuring Tool
– Switch the display on.
"Switching On the Display" see page 21.
– Press the R/L and V/% buttons at the same time.
The standard indication is shown on the display.
– To make the desired alterations, press the buttons
described in the following.
– When all alterations have been entered, press the
R/L and V/% buttons at the same time again.
A long audio signal sounds and the settings are
shown on the display.

Using the Compensator
For precise angle measuring, the compensator's incli-
nation sensor must be activated. This automatically
compensates vertical deviations of the measuring
tool.
