01. GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
Dear client,
Thank you for purchasing an ELMA brand pro-
duct.
We hope that you will enjoy the product purcha-
sed for a long time.
Read this instruction manual closely before
starting the device and keep it for future consul-
tation. Non-observation of and non-compliance
with these instructions may result in an accident.
Before the first use, clean all parts of the pro-
duct which may come into contact with food,
proceeding as indicated in the maintenance
section
• This device operates with butane cartridges
in accordance with regulation EN417.
• Check that the gas you wish to use is compa-
tible with the stove.
• Use only in ventilated areas to take advanta-
ge of the combustion air and avoid dangerous
accumulations of gases.
• Check that the stove is in good condition, pa-
ying special attention to the valves.
• Do not use the device if the seals are dama-
ged or worn.
• Never leave the device unattended while it is
operating.
• Disconnect the cartridge after each use.
• Keep the device out of the reach of children.
• Do not modify the device.
• Children must be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the device.
• This device is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sen-
sory or mental capacities, or lacking experience
or knowledge, unless they are supervised by or
have instructions related with the use of the devi-
ce from a person responsible for their safety.
• Do not use parts or accessories not supplied
or recommended by ELMA.
Never submerge the device in water or
other liquids, or put it in the dishwasher.
• Do not install the device in places with a risk
of explosion.
• Never leave the device unattended while it is
operating.

• The manufacturer and the seller are conside-
red liable in terms of safety, reliability and per-
formance only if the device is used in accordan-
ce with the instructions for use.
INSTALLATION CONDITIONS
• It is recommended to place the stove on a so-
lid, horizontal surface resistant to temperatures
(> 80ªC). It must be installed away from areas
with flammable material.
• Install the portable stove, sheltering it from the
wind.
• Do not place the cartridges in direct sunlight.
• Before connecting the gas cartridge, it must
be checked that the seals (between the device
and the gas cartridge) are well placed and in a
proper state of repair.
• Change the gas cartridge in a safe, ventila-
ted place.
• The device has a safety device that interrupts
the gas supply if the cartridge pressure is exces-
sive, for example, due to overheating.
• The cartridge cannot be installed if the switch
is not in the off position (OFF) or if the drip tray
is in the transport position.
• The device has a pressure regulator valve,
serving to reduce the gas pressure.
PRECAUTIONS
• Do not move the portable stove while it is
being used.
• Do not use the device if the seals are dama-
ged or worn, if damage is noted, or if the device
does not operate properly.
• Never place two stoves next to each other
(fig. A1).
• Never use recipients or pans which cover the
protective cover or cartridge (fig. A2).
