g Operating instruction
Thank you for choosing the Pedometer »PM-Pro³«, a precise device designed to
monitor your performance during exercise. This Digital Pedometer features a big
display that can show time, steps and all other related data (distance / calories /
exercise timer). To get the most out of your purchase, be sure to read this manual
carefully.
USING THE PEDOMETER
Tip to use
- Attach the pedometer perpendicular to the ground.
- Wear Solid shoes.
- Jog or walk at a steady pace.
- Do not walk extremely slow or at an unsteady pace.
- Vertical body movements or vibrations (such as in the car) can create incorrect
reading.
How to attach the pedometer
We recommend placing the pedometer tight in your front pocket or hanging it from
your neck. For the best accuracy, read the recommendation of how to use below:
Pocket:
- Put the unit in your upper front pocket.
- Do not put the unit in the back pocket of your shorts or trousers.
- For best accuracy, make sure the unit is secured tight on your body or clothes. If
the pocket is too loose the unit may juggle around and cause incorrect results.
Neck:
- Attach a lanyard to the unit and hang it from your neck.
- Do not hang the pedometer from your neck during jogging.
Mode
This unit has features with 6 different modes:
- Total Data mode
- Time mode
- Step mode
- ODO Step mode

- Distance mode
- Calories mode
- Exercise Timer mode
Press the MODE key to browse through modes.
Power Saving
LCD display will automatically turn off after no step / key input for over 3 minutes. The
step counting will still be active but the display will be off to save battery life. Press
any key to activate the display again.
Getting start
You need to setup some personal data before you start using this pedometer.
To setup your personal data first scroll to TIME mode. Press and hold the SET key for
2 seconds. The setting sequences are:
12/24HR display >Time > Stride length > Weight > Target goal
12/24HR Display
First you will enter the 12/24HR display selection. You can toggle the mode key to
select if you want the time display format to be 12 or 24. Press the SET key to confirm.
TIME
When you confirm the 12/24HR display the Hours digit starts flashing. Press the RE-
SET key to increase the digit or press the MODE key to decrease the digit. Press SET
key to confirm and move to Minute settings. Set Minutes with the same directions.
Measure your stride distance
Correct stride distance is defined from the tip of your foot to the other one. To
measure the correct average stride distance, divide the total distance of ten steps
you've walked / run by the number of step (10). Calculate the stride distance in the
following way:
You walk 6.2 meters, 6.2m (total distance) / 10 (number of steps) = 0.62m (62cm).
