• For Parrot radios: Follow the AX-SWC-PARROT (sold separately) instructions.
• For radios with a wire for SWC: Connect the 3.5mm adapter included with the interface to
the 3.5mm jack, then connect:
• Brown to the radio wire labeled: Key-A, SWC-1, or SWCIR
• Brown/White to the radio wire labeled: Key-B or SWC-2 (if applicable)
Note: After programming, assign SWC buttons in radio settings.
Note: XITE radios require SWC-2 to Brown.
• For all other radios: Connect the 3.5mm jack to the steering wheel control input.
• For vehicles without steering wheel controls: a) Tie the wires from the 3.5mm adapter included with the interface together.
b) Cut pin-5 from the 12-pin harness going into the interface. (Figure A)
1. Open the driver's door, and keep open during the programming process. Cycle the ignition on.
2. Connect the LD-GM11 harness to the GM11-SWC interface, and then to the wiring harness in the vehicle.
3. For models with steering wheel controls:
For (hold1) vehicles: Press and hold the Volume Up button on the steering wheel until the LED stops flashing.
For (tap2) vehicles: Tap the Volume Up button on the steering wheel until the LED stops flashing.
Attention! To find out if your vehicle needs the Volume up button on your steering wheel held or tapped during programing please refer to the
application chart on the right side of page 1.
4. The LED will flash Green & Red while the interface learns the radio.Once learned the LED will go out, flash, then turn solid Green.
5. The LED will once again go out, then quickly flash Green & Red while the interface learns the vehicle. Once learned the LED will go out, then turn
solid Green. Cycle the ignition off/on, then test all functions for proper operation.
6. If the interface fails to function, press and release the reset button, then repeat the programming process from step 3
