8. After unplugging, the heating element will remain hot
and should not be touched or placed on combustible
surfaces.
9. Do not operate the appliance if the cord has been
damaged, or if the appliance malfunctions or is
damaged in any way. Return appliance to the nearest
authorized service facility for examination, repair or
adjustment.
10. Any use of accessory attachments not recommended by
the manufacturer may cause hazards.
11. Do not use outdoors.
12. Do not let cord dangle or hang over the edge of table or
counter tops, or allow it to touch hot surfaces.
13. Do not place the appliance on or near gas or electric
burners, on a stovetop or in an oven.
14. Do not use this appliance for any other purpose but its
intended use.
15. The appliance is not intended to be operated by means
of an external timer or a separate remote-control system.
16. The appliance should not come into direct contact with
food. Use approved boilable bags.
17. Food products like juice, soup or milk products still need
to be bagged or sealed in jars for cooking.
18. Operate the appliance in water only. Keep the water
level between the "MIN" and "MAX" levels indicated on
the appliance. Do not use the appliance for other than
intended purposes.
19. Keep the appliance dry. Never operate the appliance
unless the water level is between the indicated "MIN"
and "MAX" levels on the appliance. Only the heater and
impeller portion should be underwater. Do not immerse
the cord or upper portion of the appliance into liquid. If
the appliance or any of its parts become submerged,
unplug it immediately.
20. Unplug the appliance before moving it, cleaning and
when not in use. Allow the appliance to cool before
lifting or storing.
