1. The Edge Guard has two positions.
Position 1 is for use with low angle deflectors.
Position 2 is for use with high angle deflectors.

LF Series Sprinkler Edge Guard Assembly Instructions
It may be easier to assemble the unit while holding the sprinkler and Edge Guard upside down.
2. Align one of the four LF sprinkler struts with the vertical
opening on the interior of the Edge Guard. Insert the circular
base of the body in either Position 1 or Position 2.

3. Snap the Edge Guard into place making certain that two struts
are secure in the grooves of the Edge Guard arms.

The Edge Guard can be trimmed to block a smaller portion of the
sprinkler's rotation. Trim at one of the line indicators.
