1. Open the water inlet valve.
2. Press the ON/OFF button: the indicator light will
illuminate.
3. Open the door and measure out a suitable amount
of detergent ( see below ).
4. Load the racks (see Loading the racks) and shut
the door.
5. Select the desired wash cycle according to the type
of crockery and the soiling level ( see table of wash
cycles ), by turning the SELECT WASH CYCLE knob in
a clockwise direction.
After a few seconds the cycle will start and the WASH
CYCLE PHASE indicator lights will display the status
of the cycle:
Pre-wash, Wash, Rinse, or Drying.
6. At the end of the wash cycle the drying phase
indicator light flashes.
7. Turn the SELECT WASH CYCLE knob in an anti-
clockwise direction until it reaches the RESET position,
so that all the settings are reset.
8. Switch off the appliance by pressing the ON/OFF
button, shut off the water valve and unplug the
appliance from the electricity socket.
9. Open the door and wait for a few minutes before
removing the crockery inside, in order to avoid burns.
Unload the racks, beginning with the lower level.
If you have made an error in the selection process, it
may be rectified within one minute of the start of the
cycle: turn the SELECT WASH CYCLE knob in an
anticlockwise direction until it reaches the RESET
position and after a few seconds the WASH CYCLE
PHASE indicator light will switch off. Select the new
wash cycle.
Open the door, taking care to avoid the escaping
steam, and place the crockery inside the
dishwasher. Close the door: the cycle starts from the
point at which it was interrupted.
If the door is opened during the wash cycle, or if
there is a power cut, the cycle stops. It starts again
from the point at which it was interrupted once the
door has been shut or the electricity supply is
restored.
A successful wash also depends on the correct
amount of detergent being used, as recommended
by the manufacturer. Exceeding the recommended
amount does not result in a more effective wash and
pollutes the environment.
