n If your appliance has been damaged or if it is not working properly, do not
use it and do not dismantle it under any circumstances. It is advisable to
have it examined. Apart from cleaning and descaling in accordance with
the procedures set out in the appliance's instructions, all other work on the
appliance must be carried out by an approved KRUPS Centre.
n This product has been designed for domestic use only. Any commercial
use, inappropriate use or failure to comply with the instructions, the
manufacturer accepts no responsibility and the guarantee will not apply.
n Any connection error renders the guarantee invalid.
n The guarantee does not cover kettles that do not work properly or do not
work at all because they have not been descaled.
n Unplug the appliance if you are not going to use it for a long period and
when you are cleaning it.
n Do not use abrasive pads for cleaning.
n To remove the lime scale filter, take the kettle off its base and let it cool
down. Never remove the filter when the kettle is filled with hot water.
n Do not leave unattended whilst in use.
n Never use another method of descaling than the one recommended in this
guide.
n All appliances are subject to strict quality control. These include actual
usage tests on randomly selected appliances, which would explain any
traces of use.
n This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
n Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the

n Do not operate the kettle without water inside.
n Never fill the kettle above the maximum water level or under the minimum
level. If the kettle is overfilled, water may be ejected.

not apply for:
- Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
- Farm houses,
- By clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments,
