REMOVING
1. Study the figure 1 under this text.
2. Select the threaded adaptor stud of the correct size and tighten it into the crankshaft as shown
along with the spindle and the flanged nut mounted on the spindle in the position shown.
3. Then mount the puller plate onto the spindle with the thrust bearing facing toward the crankshaft.
4. Insert two or three bolts as needed in the crankshaft flange or balancer.
5. Remove the balancer by turning the flanged nut. To prevent the spindle from turning, use a
wrench to hold the spindle hex.

INSTALLING
1. Study the figure 2 under this text.
2. Select the threaded adapter stud of the correct size, and tighten it into the crankshaft as shown,
along with the Spindle and the flanged nut mounted on the puller shaft in the position shown.
3. Then mount the puller plate onto the spindle with the thrust bearing facing away from the
crankshaft.
4. Install the balancer by turning the flanged nut.
5. To prevent the spindle from turning, use a wrench to hold the spindle hex.
