THANK YOU
Thank you for your purchase of the Energy Power™ EM-2.1. Energy
has been a leader in audio research and development as well as
engineering and manufacturing of high-quality speakers since
1973. Your new Energy Power™ EM-2.1 is compact, stylish, easy
to connect and use enhancement for TV shows, movies and even
personal audio sound that comes from your computer. Although
small in size, the Energy Power™ EM-2.1 is a big sound solution
that fits almost anywhere. With two miniature high-gloss black
satellites, accompanied by a deceivingly tiny but powerful subwoofer,
it reproduces sound that will open your eyes (and your ears!). Its
high style blends into any décor and its diminutive size allows it to fit
into confined spaces other systems cannot.

PACKING LIST

2 SATELLITE SPEAKERS WITH PEDESTALS
AND RCA CABLES ATTACHED
1 EXTERNAL POWER SUPPLY
1 SUBWOOFER
1 3.5 MM CABLE
1 OWNER'S MANUAL

SPEAKER PLACEMENT

1. The two satellite speakers should be positioned on each side of
your computer monitor or laptop. The satellite with the attached
white RCA cable goes on the left and the satellite with the
attached red RCA cable goes on the right.
2. Place the subwoofer on your computer desk or on the same
surface that your computer set up is located with the rear panel
facing away from you. The subwoofer should be located within
reaching distance as the power / volume and bass gain controls
are located on the front of the subwoofer. You will need to be
able to access these controls at all times to ensure an enjoyable
listening experience. Depending on which hand you use the most,
you may want to place the subwoofer on the left or the right side
of your computer. Do not cover up the subwoofer driver or front
port of the enclosure and be sure to provide enough ventilation to
the rear of the subwoofer. It is normal for this panel to be warm
to the touch.
3. Speaker or power cables running across an area of heavy foot
traffic should be positioned against a wall or corner and secured
with tape.
SPEAKER CONNECTION DIAGRAM
1. Do not plug in the AC power supply until your computer / audio
system is set up.
2. Connect the left satellite with the attached white RCA cable into
the white RCA line out on the back of the subwoofer amp panel.
Repeat the same step with the right satellite with the attached
red RCA cable.
3. Connect the provided 3.5mm stereo cable into the AUX IN on
the back of the subwoofer amp panel. Now connect the other
end of the 3.5mm stereo cable into the headphone jack on your
computer or laptop. This will allow the output of sound from your
computer to your new 2.1 multimedia system.
4. Plug the end of the external power supply that looks like a figure
8, into the back of the subwoofer amp panel. There is only 1
way for this piece to connect on the back of the subwoofer. Now
plug the 2 prong end into a wall outlet but preferably into a surge
protector for maximum safety and reliability of your new Energy
Power™ EM-2.1.
