Instructions for use
Intended Use
The Fall detector FD100 senses the body's orientation and
monitors falls by recognising changes in orientation combined
with an impact. The Fall detector FD100 is designed to be
worn by a person at risk of a fall. The unit is easy to use and
will generate minimal false alarms. The device originates
alarms locally through a carephone or remotely to an existing
emergency response center.
Preparation
·
Remove the battery cover.
·
Insert the two batteries as advised in the battery
compartment.
·
Reprogramme the carephone to detect the fall alarm
(see the carephone user manual)
·
Replace the battery cover in the correct position.
·
Test the range of the Fall detector FD 100
Operation
The Fall detector FD100 must be worn on the torso using the
belt clip.
Wearing the fall detector on your arm or leg may cause the
device to false alarm upon a real fall.
The fall detector is water resistant. It can be worn in the

Attach the fall detector to a belt by squeezing the clip or by
rotating the detector on the belt to ensure it is in normally
vertical position.
Wearing the fall detector so that is does not have the cor-
rect orientation may cause the device to fail.
The Fall Detector FD100 may not be used outside the reg-
istered country.
Care
Cleaning
Wipe the surface with a damp cloth.
Replacement of batteries
Warning : Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly
replaced.
Replace only with the same or equivalent type recom-
mended by the manufacturer.
Replacement of batteries is only allowed for service techni-
cians.

Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Der Fall Detektor FD100 ist ein Sicherheitssystem, das die
Körperposition permanent und automatisch überwacht und
Stürze meldet. Der Fall Detektor wird von Personen getragen,
bei denen ein Sturzrisiko besteht. Das System ist sehr
bedienungsfreundlich und generiert nahezu keine Fehlalarme.
Der Fall Detektor FD100 meldet die Alarme an das
Hausnotrufsystem S.A.M. oder das Lichtrufsystem Concento.
Über das Hausnotrufsystem S.A.M. werden die Alarme an
eine Servicezentrale weitergeleitet.
