Technical description
The ECL-75 charging current distributor with low-voltage cut-off regulates the
current distribution between the starter battery, supply battery and alternator.
This prevents the batteries and on-board electronics from overloading.
The 8100-012VS inverter supplies the CA-1000-DC roof air conditioner with
the necessary input voltage of 230 V AC. The 230 V input voltage is
generated by the inverter from the 12 V on-board electricity supply of the
vehicle.

Installation
Disconnect all power supplies when installing the upgrade kit.
➤ Remove the air outlet unit of your roof air conditioner
(see installation and operating manual for the CA-1000-AC).
➤ Insert the sensing cable supplied into the socket (pin strip socket, see
fig. 2, page 4) on the control PCB.
➤ Install the 8100-012VS inverter and the ECL-75 charging current
distributor in suitable locations in the vehicle. Observe the installation and
operating manuals supplied for the devices.
➤ Connect the sensing cable to the ECL-75 charging current distributor
(observe the installation and operating manual of the charging current
distributor).
➤ Connect the 230 V connection of the system (safety plug) to the inverter
(refer to the installation and operating manual of the inverter).
➤ Attach the air outlet unit of your roof air conditioner
(see installation and operating manual for the CA-1000-AC).
➤ Adjust the software of the roof air conditioner to AC/DC operation (see
installation and operating manual for the CA-1000-AC,
"Menu level 2: Switching from AC to AC/DC operation" chapter).
