Setting the time
The VRT 90 room-temperature control device is
fitted with a timer switch, whose 24-hour scale (6)
revolves once a day.
To set the time, turn the minute indicator (3) until
the marking (4) is line with the correct time.
Example: To adjust the afternoon setting of the
timer switch to 3pm, move it to 15:00 hours.
Turn the minute indicator until the numbers
display the correct time and the marking (4) is in
line with the "15" (cf. page 3).
Operation in the event of power failure
The timer switch minute indicator (3) should be
set to the current time.
Operating mode selection
Use the operating mode selector switch (2) to set
the operating mode of your regulating system.
The "Program" setting is recommended for
automatic operation in normal circumstances
(cf. page 5, right-hand illustration).
The "Heat" setting should be used
whenever the reduction phase needs to be
interrupted temporarily (e.g. for a party).
The "Reduce" setting is recommended for
hot-season operation, during extended
absences, for ventilating the installation room,
and for the purposes of frost protection (page
4). Your specialist technical service provider
can alter the lower temperature to the pre-
adjusted setting that you specify (factory-
adjusted to 15°C).
