1 - SAFETY WARNINGS

WARNING - for the safety of people, it is important to observe these instructions and keep
them for future use.
Read the instructions carefully before installation. The design and manufacture of the devices which
make up the product and the information contained in this manual comply with the current safety
standards in force. However, incorrect installation and programming can cause damage to property
and injury to persons who carry out the work and those who use the system. It is, therefore, important
to carefully follow all the instructions given in this manual during installation.

2 - INTRODUCTION TO THE PRODUCT

LEVANTE DIGITAL KEYBOARD FOR AUTOMATIC DOORS
The SEL4 digital keyboard is an automatic door control device that can be wired to a network where
there are other selectors supported by the CTLEV card. Communication with the CTLEV control
unit takes place via the Bus interface. The SEL4 keyboard can store up to 120 passwords. Each
individual password will be linked to a single operation. The operations are: 1 - START, 2 - EXTERNAL
RADAR, 3 - INTERNAL RADAR. Depending on the service assigned to the password, the keyboard
will perform an operation. The password memory is not shareable and if there is a second SEL4
keyboard, you will have to repeat the operation of storing the passwords on the second keyboard.
When you enter a new password, change, delete, or assign a new service, you must first enter the
master password. The factory master password is: 12345678.

3 - PRELIMINARY CHECKS

WARNING - before installing the product, verify and check the following points:
• Check that the surface on which the device will be fixed is solid and does not vibrate
• Use suitable electrical connections for the current required
• Check that the power supply complies with the values of the technical specifications
• Disconnect the power supply before installing
• Make sure there is a circuit breaker in the power supply system with a distance between the contacts
that allows for total disconnection under the conditions laid down by overvoltage category III
4 - PROGRAMMING
4.1 KEYBOARD NUMBER SETTING
Since it is possible to install 2 SEL4 keyboards on the same BUS network, it is necessary to set the
keyboard number using the DIP1 dip switch.

NOTES: Attention: the dip switches must be set with the keyboards off; the learning takes place when
switching on. Two or more keyboards with the same address cannot coexist.
4.2 WIRING
For proper operation, the BUS network requires a twisted cable with an impedance of 120 ohms. A
single cable cannot be longer than 50m; if the latter is laid together with 230 Vac power cables, its
