EMV-gerechter Anschluss:
Alle Bauteile müssen für eine Betriebsspannung von 240 V/AC zugelassen sein. Die Drossel muss für die Stromstärke, das Modul aufnimmt, zulässig sein. Die obigen Bauteile gehören nicht zum Lieferumfang des Moduls. Mit
dieser externen Beschaltung entspricht das Modul der EMV-Richtlinie 2014/30/EU vom 19.09.2016 (EMV, elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit).

Das Modul hat eine Spitzenbelastbarkeit von 6 Ampere, und eine max.
Dauerleistung von 3 Ampere. Motoren und Heizungen haben im Augen-
blick des Anlaufens bzw. Einschaltens eine fast doppelt so hohe Strom-
aufnahme wie im Betrieb. Aus diesem Grund ist das Modul so ausgelegt,
dass Anlaufströme und kurzzeitige Belastungen von 6 Ampere geregelt
werden, die ständige Dauerleistung aber unter 3 Ampere sein sollte.
Wenn Sie Motoren usw. anschließen wollen, die eine ständige Dauer-
last von über 3 Ampere darstellen, sollten Sie das Kemo Modul M028
nehmen.

Circuit description:
It is a phase-angle control with one triac. The load is adjusted
between zero and up to a power of approx. 90% by turning at
the connected potentiometer.
Use as directed:
Power control of ohmic or inductive devices with an operating
voltage of 110 V/AC or 240 V/AC.
Assembly instructions:
Only ohmic or inductive loads like heaters or universal motors
(with carbon sliders) may be connected at this module (pha-
se-angle control). Consumers (e.g. drilling machines) with an
electronics that has already been connected in series in the
factory (drilling machines with built-in electronics) cannot be
controlled.
Fluorescent lamps, power-saving lamps, quartz lamps and
other electronic consumers (power supplies, amplifiers, etc.)
cannot be regulated either.
It is normally not possible to control other motors like e.g. syn-
chronous motors, asynchronous motors, motors with starting
capacitor because in this case the rotational speed does not
depend on the supplied operating power, but on the mains
frequency (50 Hz). Nevertheless, it may work in many cases
(depending on the type of the motors and the mechanical
load), so that we cannot make any binding statement here (it
has to be tried out).
Put the enclosed knob on the potentiometer axle. Important:
The module heats up during operation depending on the loa-
ding. Therefore, it has to be mounted in a well-ventilated pla-
ce.
False connection, short-circuit or overload in the load circuit,
too high operating voltage (>240 V/AC) or overheating (insuf-
ficient ventilation) will destroy the module immediately. Since
the function of each module has been tested carefully before
dispatch, replacement at our expense is not possible!
Setting into operation:
The operating voltage may be switched on if the load (e.g.
a heater) has been connected according to the drawing and
the safety regulations were observed during mounting. Now
the power can be adjusted continuously with the knob on the
potentiometer.
Connection according to EMC (drawing page 2):
All components must be approved for an operating voltage
of 240 V/AC. The choke must be approved for the strength of
current which the module absorbs.
The above components are not attached to the module. With
this extreme mode of connection the module corresponds
to the EMV-guideline 2014/30/EU (Law of electromagnetic
compatibility (EMV)).
Safety instructions for KEMO Modules
These safety instructions have to be read before connec-
ting the module!
In the condition of purchase the Kemo modules correspond
to DIN EN 60065 and/or DIN EN 60335 in addition to DIN
EN 55022 and DIN 55024 and/or DIN EN 55014-1 and DIN
EN 55014-2. All safety elements required for the final assem-
bly are listed in the mounting instructions and must not be
omitted for safety regulations. The assembly and starting may
only be carried out by authorized persons who can also be
held responsible for possible damage.
The mounting instructions supplied by the manufacturer for
completion of the appliances are to be observed. All safety fa-
cilities are to be installed for permanent operation and must
not be ignored for personal safety. The same applies to the
operating instructions mentioned in the manufacturer's ins-
tructions.
The module must not be exposed to extreme temperatures
(more than 50°C) and humidity. The regulations for preven-
tion of accidents for electrical installations and operating
material of the industrial employer's liability insurance asso-
ciation are to be observed in industrial facilities. The module
may become warm during operation depending on the load.
Therefore, it is advisable to fit it into a well ventilated spot.

The module has a peak loading capacity of 6 Ampere and a maximum
continuous power of 3 Ampere. At the moment of starting or switching-on
motors and heaters have almost double the current consumption as in
operation. For this reason the module is designed in such a manner that
starting currents and short-time loads of 6 Ampere are regulated, the
permanent continuous power, however, should be below 3 Ampere. If
you want to connect motors etc. which represent a permanent load of
more than 3 Ampere, please use Kemo Module M028.

Kemo componentries functioning with voltages over 42 V AC/
DC may be operated by adolescents from 16 years of age
under survey.
In schools, training centers and do-it-yourself workshops, the
operation of these modules is to be supervised reliably by
trained personnel.
Never place this module and the supply lines close to com-
bustible or inflammable materials (e.g. curtains). For all kits
and modules which come into contact with a voltage higher
than 25 V, the VDE - safety instructions must be observed!
The installation resp. initial operation may only be done by an
expert! The most important safety instructions are: Protecti-
on against accidental contact for all metallic parts which can
carry more than 25 V current. Strain reliefs at all cables! In
case of defect, components or the module can burst! Therefo-
re the module resp. the printed circuit board have to be instal-
led in such a way that in this case as well as in case of fire no
damage occurs (installation into earthed metallic cupboards
or earthed metallic casings and superposing of safety fuses).

Descripción del circuito:
Se trata de un control del ángulo de fase con un triac. La car-
ga se puede regular entre cero hasta una potencia de aprox.
90% por girar al potenciómetro conectado.
Uso destinado:
Regulación de potencia de aparatos óhmicos o inductivos
con una tensión de servicio de 110 V/AC or 240 V/AC.
Instrucciones para el montaje:
Con este módulo (control del ángulo de fase) se pueden
conectar solamente cargas óhmicas o inductivas, como p. ej.
calefacciones o motores universales (con frotadores de car-
bón). Dispositivos consumidores (p.ej. taladradoras) con una
electrónica ya preconectada en fábrica (taladradoras con
electrónica instalada) no se pueden regular.
Lámparas fluorescentes, lámparas ahorradores de energía,
lámparas de cuarzo y otros dispositivos consumidores elec-
trónicos (bloques de alimentación, amplificadores, etc.) no se
pueden regular tampoco.
Normalmente otros motores como p.ej. motores sincrónicos,
motores asincrónicos, motores con capacitor de arranque no
se pueden regular porque en este caso el número de revoluci-
ones no depende de la potencia de servicio alimentada, pero
de la frecuencia de la red (50 Hz). Pero en muchos casos
(según el tipo de los motores y la carga mecánica) eso funci-
ona a pesar de todo, de manera que no podamos hacer una
declaración obligatoria en este caso (se debe ensayar).
Poner el botón giratorio adjunto sobre el eje del potencióme-
tro. Importante: Dependiente de la carga el módulo calenta
durante la marcha. Por eso se debe instalar en un sitio bien
ventilado.
Una falsa conexión, cortocircuito o sobrecarga en el circuito
eléctrico de carga, una tensión de servicio demasiado alta
(>240 V/AC) o sobrecalentamiento (ventilación insuficiente)
destruirán el módulo inmediatamente. ¡Puesto que la función
de cada módulo fue examindo con esmero antes del envío,
