3.2. Ensure that the mains supply is accessible

Even when the device is switched off, some compo-
nents are still live
To disconnect the power to your device or to completely isolate
the device from voltage sources, disconnect the device from the
power supply completely.
 Only connect the device to an easily accessible mains so-
cket that is close to the place where you have set up the de-
vice. The socket must be freely accessible so that you can un-
plug the device from the mains quickly if necessary. The local
mains voltage must correspond to the technical specifications
for the device.
 Make sure that the power cable does not present a trip ha-
zard. Do not allow the power cable to become trapped or
squashed.

3.3. Damage

DANGER!
There is a risk of electric shock.
Never, under any circumstances, attempt to open and/
or repair the device yourself.
 Do not use if the device or the power cable is visibly damaged
or if the device has been dropped.
 If the device or power cable is damaged, remove the plug
from the mains socket immediately.
 If the power cable of this device is damaged, it must be repla-
ced by the manufacturer (or relevant customer service) or ot-
her suitably qualified person. This is to avoid hazards.
 In the event of a fault, contact our Service Centre or another
suitable professional repair workshop to prevent hazards.
