Recommended Daily Maintenance
Cleaning the Platen
If a strip gets jammed or stuck to the platen, or if adhesive has melted
onto the platen, you'll need to clean the back-up bars and heating platen .

If you have time (about an hour), turn off the machine and let it cool
completely . When the platen is completely cool, the adhesive should
peel off with no trouble .
If you can't wait for the binder to cool, follow these steps:

The back-up bars are located inside the upper cover case . These bars
