PROBABLE CAUSE
• Hot water dispenser needs to reset after its last use. Wait for 5 seconds and try again.
• The cup size selector is not set correctly. Move the cup size dial to match the cup size you
have placed on the drip tray.
• Not enough water in the water reservoir. Add water to the water reservoir.
• The cup size selector is not set correctly. Move the cup size dial to match the cup size you
have placed on the drip tray. The smallest cup size is 4 oz. and the largest cup size is 12 oz.
• This is the dispense mechanism resetting so that only one cup is dispensed at a time. This
means it is working correctly.
• There may be a buildup of limescale. Clean your unit following the Care and Cleaning section
on page 6.
• Unit is not plugged in. Plug into wall outlet.
• Unit is not seated properly on base. Check that the base and unit are connected properly.
• There is no water in the water reservoir. Once the unit has cooled down, refill with cold
water.
• There may be a small amount of residual water left in the pump after water has been
dispensed. This is normal. The drip tray will catch any drops that may occur.
• With any kettle, boiling water will produce steam, which needs to be released. This is normal.
The kettle was designed to direct steam in this way.
