USE OF THE APPLIANCE
1. Turn on the power switch (3) located on the front panel
of the device.
2. Wait until the steam lamp located on the front panel
lights up. The time required for which depends on the
initial temperature of the water and varies between
10 - 20 minutes. Once the steam lamp turns on, your
device is ready to use.
Warning: Do not open the water tank cap after this stage.
Note: It is normal for the "steam" signal lamp to turn on
and off during operation.
3. Once the desired steam pressure is reached, operate
the switch (2) on the front panel. Move the steam gun
10 - 20 cm from the part to be steam cleaned and apply
steam by pressing the steam gun button (10).
Nota: El vapor que sale de la pistola de vapor puede con-
tener partículas de agua en un par de segundos cuando el
vapor aplicado como vapor dentro de la manguera se ha
condensado.
4. Turn the knob (12) to regulate the flow of the vapor
(only in ref. 100196).
IF THE APPLIANCE RUNS OUT
OF WATER DURING OPERATION
The boiler switch light on the front panel turns off and
the "No Water" light turns on.
The steam release from the steam gun is stopped.
The needle of the manometer goes down little by little
until zero.
Warning: Do not leave the appliance running if the water
level is insufficient. This would reduce its useful life.
END OF THE USE
Once you have finished using the appliance, turn off
all the switches located on the front panel.
Unplug the power cord from the power outlet and wait
for the device to cool down.
After the device has cooled down, empty any remain-
ing water into the water tank. Small amounts of water
or moisture that may remain in the water tank will not
harm your device.
If the device is not going to be used for a long time,
boil the water in the water tank completely without
closing the lid. Let it cool down and, wrapping the
power cord, store the device in a suitable place.
SAFETY DEVICES
The safety devices that this machine has are: cap with
safety valve, pressure switch, thermostat on the heating
element.
In the absence of water, a thermostat sounds an acoustic
signal and interrupts the power to the heater.
1. A pressure switch prevents overpressure in the boiler.
2. A thermostat prevents overheating.
3. A safety fuse that is activated in the event of a mal-
function of the bimetallic thermostat. In such cases,
the safety fuse cuts the electrical power to the boiler
and the "No water" lamp lights up permanently. In
this case, contact an authorized technical service.
4. In the event of the above systems fail, a safety valve
automatically releases the steam into the boiler.
Further:
The steam hose is made of heat and steam resistant
material.
The steam gun signal cables are heat resistant and sil-
icone insulated.
PERIODIC CARE
In normal use, depending on the hardness of the water,
there may be calcification and sedimentation in about a
month. Therefore, apply periodic maintenance once a
week or after every ten uses:
Using a cleaning cloth, wipe off any oil or dirt deposits
that may be on the exterior surfaces.
Visually inspect the steam hose, cap seal, switches,
lamps, and meter. If you detect any visible damage or
any malfunction, contact your authorized dealer im-
mediately.
Fill the water tank halfway, rinse with water and
empty. Repeat these two more times.
Caution: Use water to clean the appliance. Never use sol-
vents or chemicals that can damage the boiler tank or the
body of the appliance.
