like, do not use until the battery and electrical contacts are
completely dry.
• After charging, do not store the battery on the charger.
Charge and store at room temperature (0-25° C). Storing
batteries with 40 - 80% charge level (2 - 4 indicator lights)
contributes to a longer battery life.
• The contacts of the lithium ion battery must not be con-
nected or bent, as this could create a short circuit.
• Charge battery completely (approx. 4h) before first use.
• If not used for a considerable period of time and before
stowing away, charge the battery to a charge level be-
tween 40 and 80%. This corresponds to 2 to 4 indicator
lights on the battery display.
• Max. battery capacity will be reached only after approx. 5
charge/discharge cycles.
• A completely flat battery must be avoided at all costs. Re-
charge batteries to 40 - 80% (2 - 4 indicator lights) every
6 months at latest.
• Only use the originally supplied lithium ion charger for
charging the lithium ion battery. Do not use the battery
with other devices.
• Children and animals must not be allowed to play with the
battery or charger.
• If smoke appears, switch off the unit immediately and pull
out the plug.
• In case of abnormal noises, smells, overheating, smoke or
leaking liquid, switch off the battery immediately, discon-
nect the mains plug, remove the battery from the charger
and bring it into the open air.
• Do not touch or swallow leaking liquids. If contact with
skin/clothing occurs, lather immediately with soap and
rinse with plenty of water. If the liquid is swallowed or
comes into contact with the eyes, contact a toxicological
institute immediately.
