Vertical model:
●
Fixed to the wall by 4 screws
●
Placed on the ground with support feet or air recovery unit (model with
recovery underneath)
●
Placed directly on the ground (model with recovery on the front)
Important:
●
All units must be perfectly levelled.
●
If
the
recovery
at a sufficient distance from the wall (horizontal model, fitted without recovery unit)
or the ground (vertical model, fitted without feet) (min 100mm) (fig. 4).
●
If a control terminal with room thermostat is to be used, do not place it in direct
sunlight, behind a door or on top of a device which emits heat.
Place it in an interior compartment, 150 cm from the ground.
FITTING ACCESSORIES
●
Fitting the NCV base (fig. 5): Attachment with 2 panel screws (Ø 5.53)
●
Fitting the air recovery unit (fig. 6):
- Fit the Major Line flat on the air recovery unit
- Screw the 4 mounting lugs (a) with the 4 panel screws (Ø 3.93) and the 4 screws
for plastic (Ø 4)
- The blanking panel must be fixed to the rear of the unit or underneath (b)
(depending on the type of configuration required: new air recovery underneath
or at the rear).
HYDRAULIC CONNECTIONS
!
To protect against injury or damage to the unit or room, the hydraulic
connections must be made by qualified personnel only.
The coils are fitted with a 'female' hydraulic connection and a turning nut with a flat face and
an O ring (supplied by CIAT), an air bleed valve and a drain valve (diameter ½" and ¾").
Water always flows into the bottom of the coil and exits at the top.
To install a control valve with a flat face (CIAT option in a kit) (fig. 7):
●
2-way valve: screw the valve and seal supplied directly on the hydraulic
connections at the coil's inlet (bottom):
- 2-way valve, 2 pipe version (fig. 7a)
- 2-way valves, 4 pipe version (fig. 7b)
●
3-track valve + integrated bypass: add the copper piping (supplied) before
installing the valve:
- 4-track valve, 2 pipe version (fig. 7c)
- 4-track valves, 4 pipe version (fig. 7d)
