Mounting and Adjustments
Replacing/Inserting the
Saw Blade (see figure
Before any work on the machine, remove the
battery.
When inserting and changing the saw blade 16
we recommend wearing protective gloves.
Open the saw blade release/lock 14 ( ).
Insert the saw blade (teeth facing in the direction of
the cut) into the saw blade holder until it engages.
When inserting the saw blade, make sure that the
back of the saw blade engages in the groove of the
guide roller 11.
To lock the saw blade, close the saw blade re-
lease/lock ( )).
Adjusting the Cutting Angle

Release lever 6 and slide the base plate 10 toward
the front in the direction of the saw blade.
The base plate can be swivelled either to the left or
right by 45° max. Adjust the cutting angle with
scale 8. The base plate can be engaged at 0° and
45°.
Push the base plate 10 toward the rear.
To lock the base plate 10, tilt the lever for adjustment
of the base plate 6 back again.
If the base plate 10 is not seated tightly anymore
after clamping the lever 6, readjust the adjustment
screws( 19/ 20).
Sliding Shoe for Base Plate
When sawing materials that are easily scratched,
the sliding shoe 7 avoids scratching up sensitive sur-
faces.
For mounting, insert the sliding shoe at the front of
the foot plate, lift at the rear and latch in.
Splinter Guard (see figure
The splinter guard 18 prevents fraying of the surface
being sawn. The splinter guard can be inserted in
the base plate or in the sliding shoe.
Insert the splinter guard in the base plate 10 or in the
sliding shoe 7, and pay attention that the edges en-
gage into the guides. Afterwards, push the splinter
guard toward the rear to the stop.
The splinter guard is removed in reverse order.
The splinter guard cannot be used for certain saw
blade types (e. g., saw blades with set teeth).

rates.
1. gear: Low stroke rate, button is lit

Contact Protector
The contact protector 13 attached to the housing
prevents unintentional contact with the saw blade
while working and should not be removed.
Sawdust Blower Device
The sawdust blower device leads an air jet to the
saw blade. The air jet keeps sawdust from covering
the cutting line during operation.
The air jet can be adjusted with the switch for the
