3. General Guidelines

• The EHR1200 should be used with an alternating current of max. 230V AC/50Hz.
• Do not shake the device. Avoid brute force when installing or operating the device.
• Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually using it. Do not allow operation by unqualified
people. Any damage that may occur will most probably be due to unprofessional use of the device.
• Use the original packaging if the device is to be transported.
• All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons.
• Only use the device for its intended purpose. All other uses may lead to short circuits, burns, electroshocks,
crash, etc. Using the device in an unauthorised way will void the warranty.
4. Installation
• Maintain a minimum distance between the appliance and walls and objects.
• It is necessary to maintain the required safety zone around the device whenever it is to be installed in a bathroom.
• Do not install the device so that the heat rays directly bear on walls or adjacent objects.
• For wall-mounting, proceed in the following manner:
1. Slightly loosen the screw (A) which determines the inclination of the device.
2. Turn the wall support so that you can reach the screws.
3. Unscrew the screw which fastens the cover of the wall support and remove the cover.
4. Determine the placement on the wall and drill two holes of 6mm according to the holes of the wall support
and the drawing.
5. Insert a dowel in each of the two holes.
6. Fix the device onto the wall.
To avoid permanent damage, do not change the inclination without loosening the appropriate screw.
Do not touch the heating elements with your bare hands as this could leave spots which could diminish
thermal radiation.
