The tested D-value is 11.4 kN. This corresponds, for example, to a towed weight of 2200 kg and a
permissible total weight of 2460 kg. However, the information given in the vehicle registration
papers is decisive. The tested D-value must not be exceeded.
The weight data for the trailer towing device specified in the EEC authorisation can be seen on the
type label.
The towing bracket with fittings must be used only for towing trailers with a suitable tow hitch.
If installing the towing bracket with fittings necessitates the removal of the towing eye, the towing
bracket serves as a replacement, provided that the permissible towed weight is not exceeded and the
towing takes place on normal roads.

The permissible towed weights compulsory for the respective vehicle model can be seen from the
vehicle documentation.
