3.3 FUNCTION OF THE INTEGRAL UV SYSTEM IN THE AQA DRINK PRO 20

The AQA drink Pro 20 CAS water dispenser has an integrated UV system with a lamp output of
11 watts. When the UV lamp is in operation, the LED indicator on the front of the control panel
lights up. If a button is pressed for water, the water is dispensed after about 2 seconds of UV
sterilisation. If the water dispensing function does not start, press the water dispensing button
once more. After each time water is dispensed, UV sterilisation continues for approximately 60
seconds.
Note!
If the UV lamp is defective or is not connected, water can still be freely dispensed without re-
strictions. However, an acoustic warning signal sounds when the selection buttons are pressed
and the LED indicator on the operator panel flashes.
According to disinfection requirements the UV lamp might light up for longer than the nominal
60 sec. which might heat up the water in the reactor significantly. When this is observed just
flush till nominal temperature is restored.

Check to ensure that the voltage indicated on the type plate matches that in the installation
location.
The device must be secured with an earthing switch. Earthing the device is a legal
