NYLON LINE REPLACEMENT
1. Shut engine off. Lay unit on the ground with head assembly up.
2. Push in housing tab and remove cover and button.
3. Remove spool from housing. Assure Spring stays in housing.
4. Use one piece of new nylon line 4.6m (15 ft.) long and thread end of
line one inch through molded loop (A) in spool in the direction of arrow
on spool.
5. Hold spool with words "THIS SIDE UP" facing you and wind line
tightly and evenly in the direction of arrow on spool (clockwise). Leave
12.5 to 15.2 cm (5 to 6 in.) of line protruding.
6. Thread line end through housing eyelet (B). Install spool into housing
over spring and be sure spool is installed so that the words "THIS
SIDE UP" are visible.
7. Place button on spool and align cover pegs (C) with housing holes (D);
push down on cover until cover locks in place.
8. Before using, test head. Push center button while pulling on line.
Trimmer line should advance approximately 1 (one) inch.
