All modes
The switching threshold can be set at the control knob to
match the track voltage.
We recommend the following procedure:
Do not place a locomotive on the track. Set the control knob
to the right stop. Carefully turn the control knob to the left,
until the relay built into the module begins to switch. Turn
the control knob again slightly to the right until the relay no
longer switches. Place a locomotive on the track and run it
as slowly as possible over the separation points. If the relay
now switches again continuously, turn the control knob
again slightly to the right.
Digital Operation
In digital operation, the reverse loop module can be opera-
ted by means of sensor tracks or by means of short circuit
recognition.
Operation with sensor tracks (without feedback module)
Connections with sensor tracks are done according to the
diagram on Page 34. Make sure that the connections for the
even numbers or the odd numbers are always made to the
same side of the track in question. The terminal loop module
must be connected to a supply voltage.
When operating with sensor tracks the turnout for the
reverse loop can be switched from the reverse loop module.

Operation with Short Circuit Recognition
Connections with short circuit recognition are done accor-
ding to the diagram on Page 35. The reverse loop module
may not be connected to a source of voltage. No turnout
mechanisms can be connected and the turnouts used may
not have polarized frogs.
Connections to an S88 DC (60882) Feedback Module
In digital operation with sensor tracks, the reverse loop
module can be monitored by means of an S88 DC (60882)
feedback module.
The S88 DC must be connected between the chassis and the
terminal loop module at H1. The reverse loop module must
be connected to a source of voltage.
See Page 39 for a connection diagram.
Analog Operation
The reverse loop module can only be operated analog
with sensor tracks. Connections are done according to the
diagram on Page 36. Make sure that the connections for the
even numbers or the odd numbers are always made to the
same side of the track in question.
When operating with sensor tracks the turnout for the
reverse loop can be switched from the reverse loop module.
The reverse loop module must be connected to a source of
voltage.
