Installing the Batteries
1. Using a Phillips screwdriver, open the battery compartment
door located on the back of the unit.
2. Insert 3 new AA (R6) batteries in the battery compartment.
Make sure batteries match the + and – as indicated in the
battery compartment diagram.
3. Replace battery compartment door. Do not overtighten screw.

Battery Use Cautions and Tips for Safety & Best Performance
• Only use the recommended/supplied batteries or equivalent.
• Use alkaline batteries for longer life.
• Do not mix old and new batteries, and do not mix alkaline,
carbon-zinc or rechargeable nickel-cadmium batteries.
• Insert batteries with proper polarity (+/–) as indicated.
• Remove exhausted batteries from product.
• Recharge rechargeable batteries under adult supervision.
• Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Do not open batteries or heat them beyond normal ambient
temperatures.
• To prevent battery leakage or damage remove batteries from a
product if it will not be used for a month or longer.
• Use extreme caution handling leaking batteries (avoid direct
contact with eyes and skin). If battery leakage comes in contact
with eyes,
IMMEDIATELY flush the eye with
lukewarm and gently flowing water for at least 30 minutes. If
skin contact occurs, wash skin with clear water for at least 15
minutes. Seek medical attention if any symptoms occur.
• Store in cool, dry, ventilated area away from hazardous or
combustible material.
• Do not dispose of batteries in the household trash or fire.
• Follow applicable laws and local regulations for the disposal and
transportation of batteries.
Remove Demo Tab
The Boombox has a demo tab for in-store demonstration
purposes. Make sure to remove this tab. To do so, gently pull
on tab. Dispose of tab properly.

Using the MP3 Mini Boombox
The MP3 Mini Boombox lets you:
• Listen to built-in music
• Connect your MP3 player to listen to your favorite playlists
• Record and playback your own voice
• Record and playback your favorite MP3's
• Play recorded songs backwards too!

Getting Started
The Mini MP3 Boombox is equipped with an AUX jack
to connect your smartphone or MP3 player. Connect
one end of the included audio cable to the headphone
jack of your device, and the other end to the AUX jack
on
the
boombox.
Now
connect
the
headphones with the headphone jack on the top of the
boombox. Set the Volume Switch on the boombox to
High, Medium, or Low.
Mini MP3 Boombox
Voice Mode
Press the MP3/Voice Mode Button to activate Voice Mode,
which lets you record your voice onto the MP3 Boombox! Plus,
when you playback your recording, you can listen to it in
reverse, too!
Recording Your Voice
It's easy to record your own voice while in Voice Mode!
1. To record your voice, press and hold the Record Button until
the LED starts to blink. Now you can release the Record
Button and record your voice by speaking into the
microphone.
2. To stop recording, press the Record Button again. Now
press the Playback/Pause Button to listen to your recording,
press Forward to fast forward, or press Reverse to listen to
the recording backwards!
3. Press and hold the Record Button for 5 seconds to erase
the recording. Note: Any new recording will overwrite the
previous recording stored.
MP3 Mode
Press the MP3/Voice Mode Button to activate MP3 mode. A
voice prompt will ask you to connect your MP3 player to the
boombox. Once connected, put your music device in play
mode. Now you can play your music through the speaker of the
boombox. Use the Playback/Pause, Forward, and Reverse
buttons on the boombox to navigate tracks.
Recording From Your Music Device
Use the included audio cable to connect an audio device such
as a smartphone or MP3 player to the Boombox. Now you can
record your own favorite music!
1. Connect one end of the audio cable to the AUX jack on the
Boombox, and the other end to the line out or headphone
jack of your audio device.
2. Turn on your audio device and put it in Play mode. The
Playback/Pause, Reverse, and Forward buttons on the
boombox will function with your connected device.
3. After you have selected a song, use the Playback/Pause
Button to start the song. Press and hold the Record Button.
The LED will start to blink to confirm that the boombox has
started recording. Now you can release the Record
Button and record the song from your device.
4. To stop recording, press the Record Button again. Now
press the Playback/Pause Button to listen to your
recording. Press Forward to fast forward, or press Reverse
to listen to the song backwards!
5. Press and hold the Record Button for 5 seconds to erase
the recording. Note: Any new recording will overwrite the
previous recording stored. The Record Button contains
3 minutes of memory.
Troubleshooting
included
If the boombox is experiencing a fuzzy or distorted sound,
check the batteries. They are most likely weak and need to be
replaced with 3 brand new "AA" batteries.
In the event of interrupted operation, use the extended wire
of a paperclip or other thin tool to press in the Reset button
located on the back of the unit.
