Lubrication of the blades (Fig. 10) (page 82)
If the operating device is overheated, it is necessary to lubricate the internal surfaces of
the blades.
¡WARNING!
This operation should only be performed when the blades have stopped,
the hedge trimmer is off and the battery has been removed.
When you have finished your work:
Switch off the engine as indicated.
Allow the power tool to cool, before storing in a closed place.
To reduce the risk of fire, clean the machine carefully to remove any grass, leaves or
excess grease. Never leave containers with cut debris into the storage area. To increase
the efficiency and service life of the blades, clean and lubricate them carefully after each
work session.
Use a soft cloth to clean the blades, and a brush to remove the most difficult dirt and
residue.
Lubricate blades with proper oil.
Sharpening of blades
Periodically check that the blades are not bent or damaged and that the teeth on the
blade are intact.
It is not necessary to adjust the distance between the blades; the manufacturer
predetermines it.
If the blades are used correctly, following all the instructions indicated, no maintenance
work or sharpening is necessary.
Thoroughly clean the hedge trimmer before storing.
Always place the blade cover over them before storing the machine.

For optimal battery performance, follow these steps:
• Protect the battery pack against moisture and water.
• Store the battery in a place with a temperature of 0 °C to 50 °C. Do not leave the
battery in a car in the middle of summer.
• Do not expose the battery to direct sunlight.
• The ideal temperature for storing the battery is 5 °C.
• Regularly clean the ventilation openings of the battery with a soft, clean, and dry
brush.
A significant reduction in battery runtime after recharging indicates that it must be
replaced.
